A virtual parenting class is one you complete over the internet instead of in a courthouse classroom. Some virtual programs run as scheduled group video calls. Ours does not, on purpose: the class is fully self-paced, so there is no session to book, no group to wait for, and no camera pointed at you.

Yes. Our virtual class is approved by courts in all 50 states, and parents have used it to satisfy court requirements since we brought the class online. Is this a live class on Zoom?
No, and for most parents that is the point. There are no scheduled video sessions to attend. The class is fully online and self-paced: 15 short lessons you move through on your own schedule, with your progress saved as you go.
What if my order says the class must be "in person"?
Most orders do not require in-person attendance, but a few do. Read the order wording carefully, and if you are unsure, send it to info@puttingkidsfirst.org and we will point you the right way before you spend anything.
How long does the virtual class take?
About 4 hours of total time, split into 15 short lessons. Because it is self-paced, many parents finish the same day they enroll.
How does the court get proof I finished?
The certificate of completion is generated the moment you finish, with your legal name, court state and county, and case number. The court verifies it online in seconds through the QR code, and a copy goes to your attorney automatically if you provide their email.
