Alabama courts require parenting education as part of family and custody matters involving minor children. Mobile County's Pretrial Order (effective October 1, 2024) mandates both parties complete a parenting seminar within 60 days of service. Our class is approved by Alabama courts statewide.
Our online parenting class covers effective communication strategies, child-focused parenting plans, and helping children adjust to family changes. You can complete the class at your own pace from any device with internet access. Upon completion, you'll receive an instant certificate with QR code verification that satisfies court requirements.
Both parents must complete the class in Mobile County family cases. The 60-day timeframe provides ample opportunity to finish our self-paced online program and submit your certificate to the court.
Alabama courts handle parenting education on a county-by-county basis. While no statewide statute exists under Alabama Code Title 30, Mobile County has established a formal requirement through its October 2024 Pretrial Order, and courts in other counties order parent education in family cases.
